"The Minstrel Boy"
This was the very first time I brought my violin to a 'con' to walk around and play! I didn't know if they'd let me in with it, or if people would be annoyed and ask me to knock it off...
But people seemed delighted :-)!
If I'd stop playing and just carry it, someone would inevitably ask me "Is that just a prop or can you play?" -- ha!
I had only 5 or 6 songs in my repertoire that I could play from memory, and I had a bluetooth speaker in my hood that played accompaniment tracks.
I discovered that day that playing 'live' for people was THE BEST THING EVER, especially because they didn't have to feel like a 'captive audience'...I was constantly on the move.
