Here is another wonderful, relatively obscure song which is by Positive Noise. I hope this upload helps it to become better known.
Here is interesting comment on this song elsewhere on the web (by cyberinsekt): "What we have right here is a forgotten classic from 1981. Positive Noise were never a fashionable group, and never attracted the praise of the music press. They didn't fit the narrative of the times: they were Scottish but they weren't playing hook-filled pop, they liked to use guitars, and they just weren't indifferent enough. They were far more Magazine than they were Orange Juice. ... Give Me Passion is a force 11 gale of a song, everything louder than everything else and running straight towards you like a snorting prop forward. It's unashamed in its emotive power, it's got a tune you want to sing (even if you can't tell what the words are) and some brilliantly flamboyant drumming. This was the band's first single. ... Further listening suggests that Positive Noise may be one of the great lost groups of the early '80s."
