GETTING MY TATTOO LASER REMOVED VLOG | process, tattoo regret & more

Hi - follow me along on my 3rd laser removal session on my foot tattoo. This is the 3rd tattoo I have gotten removed. They all had slight different reasons to why but mainly all because they weren't to my liking. I got them when I was 18-20. The tattoos just don't fit the rest of my now 100+ traditional black tattoos.

Laser tattoo removal is a popular and effective way to remove or significantly fade unwanted tattoos. However, the process is not quick or without considerations. Here are essential tips to keep in mind before deciding on laser tattoo removal.

How does tattoo laser removal work?
Laser tattoo removal works by targeting the ink pigments in the tattoo with high-intensity light. The laser breaks the ink into smaller particles, which your body’s immune system gradually removes. Multiple sessions are usually required, with each spaced 6-8 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and your immune system to flush out the ink. Depending on the tattoo, 6-12 sessions are typical. But I usually personally wait 4-6 months between sessions as the tattoo significantly fades in the time after the painful sessions.

Tattoo color and age significantly affect how easily it can be removed. Black ink is the easiest to treat, while colors like green, yellow, and fluorescent shades can be more challenging and may require more sessions. Older tattoos tend to fade more quickly than newer ones because the ink particles have naturally broken down over time.

And also depending on your own immune system/health is how quickly your body breaks down the ink parts. This is different from person to person! The same when it comes to the healing period after the tattoo laser removal session.
