RUF RT35 Raid spec performance review:
So is it good? Well, the RUF RT35 raid spec could compete in being the worst Raid spec car in the game. Though it's not the worst, but it's almost being one. Firstly, the grip level and handling. This car can't turn at all, and it's very drifty yet understeers at the same time. It also barely has any traction too, as it's constantly wheelspinning at 5th gear and even 6th gear going uphill. It's even worst in the rain, barely any traction. Now using full assists does help the car a little bit but you will lose too much speed everytime it slides.
But perhaps the biggest drawback is it's overall top speed. It has the lowest engine top speed among the raid cars, and it also has the highest engine & gear resistance above the engine top speed. Example, on a flat road if you NOS from it's engine top speed, it acceleration drops a lot as you increase in speed and once your NOS finished, it's speed drop very quickly back to it's engine top speed. Because of this, it doesn't perform well at downhills due to the extremely high resistance. You can see in the races how people can catch up my car quickly at downhill, it just simply doesn't have the downhill momentum and speed most raid cars have.
The only great thing about the RUF RT35 raid spec is that it's overall acceleration and NOS power is great on flat roads, until you hit above the engine top speed. But the biggest positive note is it's slipstream acceleration. It's insane. The surge of acceleration from slipstream + NOS is almost unbeatable and it's the only way you can win raid races with this car. Try your best to keep up, then right before the finish line, slipstream slingshot to the finish as shown in the video. No other raid car with slipstream can come close to this kind of surge of acceleration. Just time in nicely, otherwise you lose all your speed quickly due to the engine/gear resistance.
