Next time you're about to complain that you don't have enough space at home, look to Brianne (blogger behind "Stroller in the City") and her 1000 square foot, one bedroom apartment in NYC. Brianne came to Project Nursery with a design dilemma—what to do with one bedroom, two kids and a third on the way? The space was dark and cramped with oversized furniture, blue walls and a Lightning McQueen bed.
Pam and Melisa began by repainting—going with a bright white for a light and airy feel. Next they went to numi numi for a modern, sleek crib called Funky Forest in a birch finish with a unique changer to match. Project Nursery went with bunks for the older children from Oeuf, also in a light birch. To go with the "Funky Forest" theme, they selected woodsy wall decals from Wall Decors. The bedding is from Dwell Studio; the white shorn rugs are from Elks and Angels, and the winning touch is the Tamar Mogendorff deer head. It's an absolutely stunning transformation and proof that great design can trump a small space challenge.
