AALL & Create Artist Trading Cards - Part 1

Oh my goodness, friends, I had some fun on this one! These sweet ATC's started life as a gel plate print, which used beautiful carved wooden block stamps from India. I created just for me, no responsibilities, no deadlines, no expectations, except to enjoy the process...and boy did I!

As you can see in the title, this is Part 1 of my process. Part 2 will come soon and was created based on my question of "what do I do with them now...How do I store them?" I received lots of good feedback from seasoned ATC makers; in the end I decided to create a little art journal out of them, and Part 2 shows that process...from cardboard box to book covers, and how I bound the whole thing together. I have NEVER done anything like this, and wouldn't necessarily recommend my way, but it was my process, so I will share it with out. I learned a lot and will likely do it again.

Besides the gel plate and the wooden block stamps I have used a variety of stamps from AALL & Create, 2 stencils from them as well, Arteza Everblend markers and Ranger Crackle Texture Paste. I also used a black fineliner pen called Le Pen from Marvy Uchida and Nuvo Crystal Glaze.
