In 2019, Randwick Public School teacher Daniel Pozarik approached the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) UNSW to co-design an innovative program for the school - a social impact leadership program.
The idea was to foster a new kind of leadership through teaching children how to implement positive change in their local community.
The school invited students to submit applications to join the program, and were met with incredible ideas for how to change our world for the better.
CSI’s Dr Ali Walker led the team to design a five-module interactive program that was piloted at the school in Term 1, 2020.
This impact2020 webinar focuses on social impact leadership, what it means, and how Randwick Public School’s students have responded to the pilot. Students from the school also joined the webinar to talk about their experience.
