This tutorial looks at how to play a simple Blues Scale on the B flat clarinet. One of the most useful scales to master for any musician playing in pop, jazz, blues and commercial styles of music is the Blues Scale.
The scale is first played simply ascending and descending and then an unaccompanied improvisation using only the notes from the Blues Scale is performed on the clarinet to demonstrate its potential.
