A shadow falls across the realms: the Death Curse. Those who were once brought back from death now waste away, their bodies failing with each passing day. No soul can return from beyond. Panic spreads, and so a new company of adventurers is summoned to seek the source of this blight.
Their patron, Lalaine Silverhand, sends them to the distant jungles of Chult, where the curse is said to originate. In the bustling port city of Nyanzaru, the group gathers for the first time, each with their own secrets and strengths.
• Dredd Baenre (Logan), a drow fighter traveling under an alias, keeps his true name hidden, testing the waters of trust with his companions.
• Driz (Ford), a human druid, takes on the burden of survival—scouting the land, securing food and water, and ensuring the party can endure the harsh wilds.
• Hissan Dalise (Damien), a sharp-eyed rogue, proves his vigilance by volunteering for the long night watches, determined to keep danger from catching them unaware.
• Shia’la (Adam), an elven bard, turns tense moments into opportunities, using words and music to inspire and smooth over challenges.
• Zarian (Jay), a goliath paladin, holds fast to his convictions, standing as a steady shield and a voice of resolve when doubt creeps in.
