E40 Tiny Home in a Greenhouse | Starting the ponds and pool

When I was trying to decide whether to risk building a greenhouse-enclosed home, I studied as much as I could about each of the existing projects. Although a few mentioned a pond, I was not able to find information about any of them regarding size, construction details, maintenance, or purpose.

The purpose of the ponds is to circulate water through the plants to filter the water in the pool. My ponds are only loosely based on David Pagan Butler’s organic pools design principles because I could find only 1 pond that he’s done inside a greenhouse, it did not have a separate swimming zone, and it was substantially smaller than my ponds. Therefore, I was in uncharted territory for this part of the project. We’ll know next summer whether this was a good idea or not.
