After fielding some questions, I decided to throw together a video to give you an idea of how I like to varnish my paintings. I tried to demonstrate the ease of using a car sponge, pantyhose, and Liquitex Gloss Varnish. My canvas didn’t want to stay in place on the table, so apologies for the movement.
Everyone has a different method of applying varnish, either liquid or spray. This is what works for me. If you’ve ever seen my videos, you know I’m not a guru of anything. So, this isn’t an expert-level tutorial. This is what works for me. 😜
