Many of you have seen tutorials on setting up Kontakt multi outputs in Reaper or other DAWs, but they don’t explain the logic or mechanism behind it. In this video, I will show you a quick way to set up Kontakt in Reaper, and I’ll break down what happens when you play a note on your MIDI keyboard, why you hear the Kontakt instrument through the master track, and what role the Kontakt instance plays between MIDI channels and output channels.
