Matilda, aged 7, was rushed to Starship from the Hawkes Bay via the Starship National Air Ambulance after being diagnosed with Leukaemia just hours before. Her kidneys were failing and she needed urgent specialist care. Here is a special peek at what’s involved in an Air Ambulance transfer.
