In this video, we share the voices of Cambodian refugees in Kralanh, families whose lives were turned upside down by war that Thailand brought upon Cambodia. My family and I had the opportunity to visit a refugee site in Kralanh Village, where we met and interviewed families who fled their homes with nothing but fear and uncertainty.
On December 7, 2025, their villages were attacked, forcing them to leave behind their houses, land, belongings, and memories. Many escaped in a hurry, not knowing if they would survive, let alone return home. Today, these families are living in tents and makeshift shelters in open fields, while others have taken refuge in local wat temples within the village.
Some families were able to return home after the fighting stopped. However, more than 200 families are still remained in this refugee camp. They come from areas where villages were bombed, homes were destroyed, or land was taken over. For them, returning home is still impossible.
They live each day with uncertainty, not knowing if they will ever see their homes again. Their stories are painful, heartbreaking, and deeply human. This video is not just about loss—it is about survival, resilience, and voices that deserve to be heard.
