Fresh Air with the Lung Path Guys. Episode 2: Thymoma

This is episode 2 of a new series in which two fellowship-trained thoracic pathologists chat about topics in the field (pathology of the lung, thymus, mediastinum and pleura). These chats are informal, casual, educational and engaging. Most important: this is NOT a series of boring lectures where one person drones on for 60 minutes. We're just thinking out loud and sharing our thought process, and we hope that pathologists and even other doctors, patients and members of the public will learn something useful from these chats.

Dr. Sanjay Mukhopadhyay is a medical doctor (pathologist) in Cleveland, Ohio (USA). Like Matthew, he diagnoses lung diseases such as lung cancer, mesothelioma, infections and interstitial lung disease by examining tissue samples with a microscope. He is the author of a textbook of lung pathology published by Cambridge University Press.
