I had around 1222 report of a traffic collision came out at the address listed above.
On arrival first responders located a golf cart in a ditch that had been struck by a Carlsbad water Delivery truck.
The driver of the golf cart sustained major injuries, and a helicopter was requested.
The writer was transported from a nearby school via helicopter with major injuries to his upper body and head.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this time, but is under investigation by CHP.
