My hoist got stuck in the up position, and would not come down using the buttons. This is how I lowered it on instruction of the manual and service team. DO NOT DO THIS IF THE CAR IS ANGLED, ask the professionals to sort it! Luckily, mine was level and they advised me how to sort it. You should also be balancing it once a month with no car on it by fully elevating it, then purging the air as shown at the end of the clip. This prevents the skids getting unlevelled as I understand. I could not find any info on this so I hope this helps to the few people who might have the same problem!
