EPISODE 4 – ‘AUSTRIAN & ITALIAN ALPS TOUR’ | Grossglockner Pass & Stunning Alpine Roads

Welcome to Episode 4 of my spectacular 10-day tour of the ‘Austrian & Italian Alps’ between the 7th - 10th June 2025 with 18 fellow riders.

Join me for an epic ride through the Austrian and Italian Alps as we tackle the legendary Grossglockner High Alpine Road – Austria’s highest paved road! In this episode, expect breathtaking mountain views, scenic twisties, hairpin turns, a few wrong turns, and plenty of riding banter. We also check in on other riders, deal with traffic challenges, and explore some incredible alpine passes including the SS49, SS244, and B107.

The days ride concluded at our high quality overnight hotel, on the outskirts von Mondsee, Austria.

In episode five, we head to our last three overnight stops in Reutte, Austria on Day 8; and then on Day 9 to Heidelberg in Germany; and then on Day 10, back to our first hotel in Belgium…if I can fit it all into that video!

The tour was organised by myself for the membership of the motorcycle club - www.pemc.co.uk. and the trip was attended by 18 PEMC motorcycle club members.

TOUR COSTS?
The PEMC tour organisers, try to keep their trip costs as low as possible, by seeking discounts for group hotel bookings.

Therefore, the trips are usually ‘self guided’, although organisers often provide suggested routes and places of interest to visit.

Based on quotes at Nov 2024, this was the eventual cost per person for 10 nights Dinner, B&B in good quality hotels.

Sharing Room - £1,096
Double Room/Single Occupancy £1,447
(Excluding any ferry or Euro Tunnel costs, lunches, fuel etc).
