The mod here attempts to add the cut zones from the original Sonic 2 into Sonic 2 Absolute.

The Expanded project is back after a few months with a new demo update, which shows off more progress with a few new stages. Those new stages being Hidden Palace, Rocky Winter, Sand Shower, Cyber City, and Death Egg. All of which is mentioned that they will have 2 acts each.

So originally the update came out a few days ago, but the only reason why I didn't play it right away was because I noticed that there was a bug where one of the stages wasn't loading up, so I thought waiting up until yesterday evening to see if there would be a small fix update would actually release, luckily something did come out and that's what you're pretty much seeing right here.
