Located in the province of Cádiz. Chipiona is one of the most beautiful villages in the south of Spain.

Hola, my name is Raul Leon. I'm from Seville but I grew up in the beautiful town of Cádiz. CHIPIONA, my family town.

With the largest lighthouse in Spain and the third of Europe, Chipiona is also famous for a special wine called moscatel. I will dedicate an entire video talking about this special fortified wine.

Chipiona is one of the most beautiful Spanish villages where the famous Rocio Jurado was born. She's a Singer who was considered one of the best in Spain. Rocio rests in peace in the cemetery of Chipiona where everyone can visit her mausoleum.

Because Chipiona is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, it is one of the important fishing locations in Cádiz. So in most of the restaurants you will taste some of the most delicious fresh seafood in the south of Spain.

Chipiona has some of the best beaches in Andalusia, Spain. In fact, it has the best curative seawater in Spain. Thanks to the high level of Iodine in the water.

Cádiz is in the south of Spain, and the south of Spain (Andalusia) is the hottest not just in Spain but in the whole of Europe. That's why many Europeans are coming to visit us because of the weather. And here in Chipiona, the high season is between May to October but July and August, the summer season has the highest number of visitors.
