Part 1 of 3 of the alternator repair job.
this is a video i been wanting to put out for a long time to demonstrate how easy it is to remove the subframe.
the subframe is in the way to a lot of things. the most notable of them all is the oil filter. and Owners all over the world have been moaning about the oil filter replacement for more than 30 years now.
althought there is a cheat way to do it. I always wanted to show that the subframe itselt is a pretty straightforward part to remove. and after this one is out, you actually get to easily inspect other things under the engine bay. so doing this job once a year is something i would encourage.
this is not recorded with the intend of being a "how to" video, but i think it will help anyone who is interested in doing the same job in their car.
