Amateur video taken of a parade in Nome, North Dakota in June 2001.
Some history from the 'Wandermore in North Dakota' page: Nome was located on the Northern Pacific Railroad’s Casselton branch as a depot and refueling point for trains in 1901. It grew in connection with several nearby towns, getting its post office in the year it was founded and businesses of all varieties. In 1916, the Nome Schoolhouse was constructed... and for decades, it taught young pupils.
The schoolhouse was reopened in 2021 as a fiber arts retreat center, event space, and boutique hotel.
