Oh No! It's Metallic Thread! This week we are going to make a folk art watering can with shimmery water. Add beads to make everything really pop.
This year in Winging It, we are working on the Garden Quilt Project. We will build our quilt block by block throughout 2023. By the end of the year you will have a complete quilt top. I will try to finish the quilt completely, but we'll see!
Don't feel that you have to buy anything new - this can be made with scraps from your stash, old clothes, charity shop finds etc. You can be as co-ordinated (or not) as you like.
I am not an experienced quilter - I have made one before following a Hachette Partworks Publication called Sew and Stitch. The quilt I made with this partwork is the inspiration for our garden quilt. The garden theme is my own design though, so please can I ask you to not reproduce it for profit. If you post any work based on my designs, please could you credit me clearly.
Patterns are available on my website www.featherstitchhouse.co.uk There is a small charge for them, just to cover the cost of making these videos and keeping my website running.
Thank you for taking part.
Happy crafting. x
