Hokkaido Autumn Cycling | Stunning Foliage in Japan

Cycling to Makomanai Park, a famous autumn foliage spot in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
Makomanai Park is a nature-rich park located in Sapporo.
A cycling path along the Toyohira River connects the city center, including Odori Park and Susukino, to Makomanai Park.
For travelers, Sapporo also offers many rental bicycles, making it convenient and recommended.
It is also possible to reach Makomanai Park by subway from Odori Park or Susukino in central Sapporo.

This day was in early November, which is around the end of autumn in Hokkaido.
At Makomanai Park, the larch trees had turned beautifully golden.
It is said that when the larch leaves fall, autumn in Hokkaido ends and winter begins.
While in the park, I encountered wild birds and animals.
I also visited Rokkatei, a famous confectionery shop in Hokkaido near Makomanai Park, and enjoyed their specialty sweets.
