To add whimsy, style, and "a touch of lace" to my daughter's bedroom, I painted a lace inspired image on her worn door. I used leftover white and copper paints to freehand the zentangle-like mural, having invested the greater part of an afternoon toward its completion. It was a leap of faith and truly a labor of love.
Painting this door involved:
White paint
Simple shapes
Repeating patterns
Countless strokes
Swirls
Second coats
Copper accents
Patience
Time
And love for a little girl
Lace inspired door
