In this video, I explain what happens when a baby who has been exposed to SSRIs in the womb is suddenly cut off at birth, along with the symptoms which could occur.

We’ll look at why the term 'poor neonatal adaptation syndrome' is simply a sanitized way of saying 'drug withdrawal', and how research shows increased risks for NICU admission and even the need for resuscitation. I’ll also share why the best time to taper is before pregnancy and why honest conversations about these risks are essential for informed decision-making.
