LAND4 Just Got Even Better – Explore What’s New in Version 5 | LAND4 for use with ARCHICAD®

Take a tour of the latest update of LAND4 for use with ARCHICAD – Version 5, released May 12, 2025 – and see what’s new!

Here’s what’s new in LAND4 V5:
Faster 3D Rendering: See a head-to-head speed test demonstrating the solid improvement in 3D model generation.
Enhanced Gravity Tool: The Gravity Tool now works directly in the 3D model, allowing you to snap and place Spot Levels based on existing ARCHICAD elements.
Simplified Ridge Line Creation: You can now create multiple Ridge Lines simultaneously.
Drape and Undrape Functionality: New in V5, the Undrape function lets you easily detach elements when needed, and the Drape Offset gives you control over vertical spacing.
Draping Splines and Polylines: See how easily you can drape Splines and Polylines onto your LANDSurface to create 3D lines that follow the terrain, complete with positive or negative offset options.
Improved Category Management: New options to reorder categories and hide them from the main pick box — making it easier to stay organised, especially in larger projects.
New Level Line Features: The new options for Level Lines include Interval Level Lines with customizable line types and colours.
Faster Volumetric Calculations: Here, you will see a major boost in processing speed, along with a more intuitive way to select surfaces.
Neutral Parameter in Volumetrics: The neutral parameter is now represented by a third colour in the Volumetric Surface, offering clearer visuals and more detailed analysis.
