The Dallas Wings spoke to the media after their 90-81 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on August 24, 2025. Myisha Hines-Allen, Amy Okonkwo, and head coach Chris Koclanes discussed Paige Bueckers drawing heavy defensive attention, Okonkwo’s impact in her homecoming performance, the team’s resilience despite injuries, and the importance of leadership and perspective.
Maddy Siegrist led Dallas with 16 points, Hines-Allen added 15, and Okonkwo posted a career-high 12 in her second WNBA game. Paige Bueckers contributed nine rebounds and five assists. Veronica Burton powered Golden State with 25 points and 13 assists as the Wings dropped their fifth straight.
