TAIL HEAVY SITUATION. Episode 31. DIY RC PLANE TAIL GLUED

After finally gluing the tail I run into some trouble...

Till this time I did not know where is my center of gravity (CG). Once I got the tail glued I was able to see where the I'm at with the balance. Short cowling and long, big tail put me in tail heavy situation. Not very much, something correctable for sure.

I can shift the batteries to the cowling; something I didn't want in my initial design but it is what it is. I will shift some electronics and components forward as well. I will space the engine more forward. This one is little more problematic since I already made the spacers for the brushless generator but I can always shorten it. I will install my tail servos more forward. I will probably clip the vertical stabiliser as well since it is oddly tall.
