Hello everybody! This one is very special to me. I recorded this video just a few hundred feet from a resort that I spent many summer weekends at over many years back when I was a teenager. It was a real wonderland! It is probably why I love lakes so much. It was always a treat to spend time in the rustic cabins on the north shore of Lake Superior. I used to sit on the rocks next to a bonfire while listening to music quietly playing as I stared out over the lake for hours at a time! My family and I treasured this place. We have made so many memories here. Sadly, the resort was sold a long time ago and is now private property. This is the first time that I have visited the area since it was closed to the public. It was a bit of a rough hike along the shore, but it was worth it! I got as close as I could. There was a "No Trespassing" sign between me and my favorite giant rocks in the lake that I spent so much time on. They were like little islands. I used to sleep in a cabin that was once right on the shore, not far from this spot. The sounds of the waves always lulled me to sleep. I'll never forget the fresh air and the cool breeze. Creating this video was a real blast from the past for me. I really miss this place. I hope this video brings you some rest and relaxation! Sleep well! ...zzzzZZZZZ

I love spending time at the lake. Watching sunsets and listening to the sound of the waves is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. I have videoed a few sunsets and shared them here on YouTube!
