Tell, Don't Ask

Hey everyone, I'm Ardalis (aka Steve Smith), of NimblePros!

In this short video I'm going to introduce you to the Tell, Don't Ask principle. You'll see how code that's written without any encapsuation tends to result in a lot of duplicate and verbose logic, whereas if you encapsulate state-changing code within an object, you can just "tell" it what to do and have much less code and a much more consistent system.
