In this tutorial we are going to introduce the concept of Animation Notifies and how they can be used to trigger logic at a specific frame in an Animation. We will first explore the default examples that exist and their limitations, before creating a Custom Notify that links to the Animation Blueprint. This logic is 'ok', but we can do much better and we really should begin to consider the modular and reusable structure of our game and all systems within it! For this we will create our own Custom Paper ZD Animation Notifies, and using Blueprint Interfaces we will create effective communication methods for them to send messages to the Owning Actor. This means we can create Notifies for a Primary Attack Effect that can be used on any Character, Enemy or other Gameplay Element in your game!
