This siren is located at Wylie Police Department. Wylie tests their siren system on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00 PM.
After a failed activation of the Frisco 4004, we quickly headed to Wylie to capture a recording of one of their remaining P-10s that had only been filmed once about 10 years ago. Given that most of the system now consists of T-128s and decommissioned penetrators, we were uncertain if this unit would activate. After conducting the test, we drove a brief five minutes to Lavon to record a 2740 siren at 2.
