Kai Grünitz, Volkswagen Board Member for Technical Development, says 2026 will bring One Pedal Driving in Volkswagen vehicles, the ID.3 GTX will be replaced by ID.3 GTI and top of the line sporty electric vehicles will have the R badge. Also, he is aware by the demand for battery preheating in ID. cars with software 3.X, but no decision has been made about this topic.
