At the beginning, these were old bulgarian-made trams (T8M-900M). After that, they were modernized in the Czech Republic by "INEKON". They were delivered back to Sofia in 2008. Nowadays, (by the time I write this description) these trams are 10 years old! They are usually operating the most crowded tram line in Sofia - 5. When the new Skoda trams are delivered to Sofia - some of the Inekons will be put on the other lines.
