Michael is accused of being a part of the robbery and double murder of James and Carol Sumner in Jacksonville FL in July of 2005.
The Sumners had just moved to Jacksonville from South Carolina in March of that year...
Jackson was the boyfriend of Tiffany Cole, a family friend of the Sumners, who likely set the whole thing up...
The couple was buried alive, and were found to be embracing when they finally succumbed... Truly a tragic case.

A jury convicted Michael Jackson for the first-degree murders of Carol and James ("Reggie") Sumner along with two counts of robbery and two counts of kidnapping.

The Death Penalty was recommended in this case... And it has gone back and forth, but after a resentencing in August of 2023, he remains on Death Row awaiting his execution.
