Matt Woosey & David Small live at The Tuesday Night Music Club 8th March 2022

Sometimes a night can take you by surprise - when Matt Woosey came to town we fully expected fabulous songs, wonderful voices and exquisite guitar playing. But what we got far exceeded all that as when you add in Matt's easy repartee that created an intimate bond with the audience the evening became one of those very special, treasured nights. But don't take our word for it - here's what Tony Cole said the next day:

"Last night at The Tuesday Night Music Club Richard Dunning did his magic yet again…..the band on stage was the Matt Woosey Trio. Unfortunately the bass player came down with the dreaded ” C” virus, so it was down to Matt and David Small on percussion to perform to the eagerly awaiting audience.
Matt performed an outstanding acoustic performance that won the hearts of all that were lucky enough to be there. His guitar playing, vocals and song writing talent were simply outstanding. Partnered with David keeping the rhythm and vocal harmony to many of the songs, collectively provided a really chilled atmosphere to the whole night. You could physically see the audience sitting back in their seats and just soak up the amazing musical talent being performed.
Matt and David obviously love what they do and coupled with the banter with the audience made yet another night of great memories. Thank you Richard for finding the calibre of such incredible talent each week. The Matt Woosey Trio or Duo is certainly a band you need to look out for and get tickets to see."
