glass beach Full Live Set @ Thalia Hall - Chicago 2024

this footage and audio was originally intended just for use in small tour promo clips for ‪@glassbeachband‬, but after taking a look at the full length wide shot, i thought it'd be nice to sync all of my footage, audio, and photo together from this show into one cohesive full set vid. i believe this is the only set on this tour with a full set recording i took, aside from some audio from other dates. i usually focus on getting highlight shots, as i mentioned, and photos. the photos are sync'd throughout the set, and there is a full gallery at the end of the vid. if you're interested in more photos from this tour: joeytobin.com/tour
this chicago show felt very special. i want to say it was the largest venue on this run. it felt HUGE loading in and seeing it empty. it also felt like this was the size of stage the band was meant to be playing. a lot of running-around space. not sure if this whole video is really that interesting to many people, but i had a fun time syncing everything up appropriately down to the exact frame. even if this mostly sits here, it was great to work on a little edit for a few days :)
