In this episode, Saurabh Dwivedi discusses protests by the Jain community regarding Sammed Shikhar on Parasnath Hill, Giridih, Jharkhand. The Center had notified the eco-sensitive zone (ESZ) for Parasnath Wildlife Sanctuary in 2019 stating the area had “tremendous potential to support thriving eco-tourism”. The community believes that this will lead to 'tourists disrespecting the decorum' of their holiest shrine. The Government of Jharkhand and Center have now assured that the decorum will be maintained.
