Thanks for celebrating with me and Rosemary yesterday (on our 30th First Date-iversary)! But today marks another one of the most important milestones of my life.
On September 16, 1995, I loaded all my stuff into a U-Haul truck and moved to Atlanta, GA to begin this leg of my journey.
For the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of living the most incredible life imaginable and doing amazing work with so many great people. That’s 10,950 days filled with music, creativity, and connection. I’m grateful for every single one of them.
And the truth is, I have YOU to thank for it. The only credit I’ll take is that I showed up every day (and usually on time). If you’ve ever hired me, referred me, worked alongside me, taken a lesson, come to a show, attended a class (in person or online), or bought something I’ve created—you’ve helped me build this life and career.
From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU. Here’s to the next 30 years together!🍻
