I show how to disassemble and reassemble a Springfield V-16 slide chambered in 45 Super with a one piece guide rod. I forgot to mention that the 45 Super can shoot 45 ACP ammunition, but may require a lighter mainspring. 45 Super ammunition is identical to 45 ACP on the exterior, but the interior of the 45 Super casings are thicker to allow the higher pressures. 45 Super ammunition should NOT be shot in firearms chambered in standard 45 ACP.
