EVITA 2025:Mosaic of Hope @ Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Gwalior

The Annual Function ‘Mosaic of Hope’ under EVITA–2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm, energy, and cultural vibrance at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Gwalior, on Friday, 14 November 2025. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thykkattil, Bishop of Gwalior; Special Guest Rev. Sr. Ann Jose, Former Provincial, Northern Province; Manager Rev. Sr. Tessy Maria; Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya Vacco; Vice Principal Rev. Sr. Noella; and School Coordinator Usha Singh.

Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Thykkattil, in his address, inspired the students to adopt value-based education, discipline, and a positive outlook in life. He emphasized that such cultural celebrations contribute significantly to the holistic development of students while nurturing confidence and leadership skills.

Special Guest Rev. Sr. Ann Jose, while addressing the students, stated that learning is not confined to books alone; every stage performance reflects the hidden talents within children. She appreciated the collective efforts of students and teachers.

On this occasion, Principal Rev. Sr. Ramya Vacco explained the essence of the theme ‘Mosaic of Hope’, saying that each child is a unique colour, and when all these colours come together, they create a future filled with hope, unity, and humanity. She praised the students for their creativity, hard work, discipline, and talent.

The students presented a vivid journey of time through dance, music, and dramatic performances based on the theme ‘Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’. Traditional folk dances, cultural presentations, and modern expressions mesmerized the audience.

The Annual Report of the school was presented impressively by Head Girl Rudrapriya Dandotia and Sports Captain Rashi Chauhan. The report highlighted academic achievements, sports accomplishments, cultural events, and social initiatives undertaken throughout the year, earning appreciation from the guests and parents. Outstanding performers were also felicitated on the occasion.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Head girl, who expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries and congratulated the school community for the successful organization of the event. She also praised the students for their discipline, dedication, and excellent performances. It is noteworthy that the EVITA–2025 Annual Function based on ‘Mosaic of Hope’ conveyed an inspiring message of students’ dreams, aspirations, and a bright future.
