I spent the afternoon hiking around Llyn Idwal which is located in Ogwen, Snowdonia. This is a great beginners hike in Snowdonia.
I have hiked Mount Snowdon a few times and wanted something a bit different so I decided to visit this picturesque lake, which is also a starting point for Y Garn.
The hike is an easy and relaxing walk with a couple of routes you can take. The hike can take between 1-2 hours with the option to link up with other routes which makes this a great beginners hike in Snowdonia and the UK.
