In September 2025, five members of Sarinvomit were detained by Turkish authorities in Istanbul after prosecutors opened a case alleging that their song lyrics and social media posts insulted religious values and incited public hatred or hostility. After detainment, the band was forced to split-up and to withdraw its music and videos from any official social media accounts
