Learn to Draw and Paint Landscapes with John Muir Laws

Join award-winning artist, author, educator, and scientist John Muir Laws for a 2-hour recorded class where he will share his best tips and tricks for drawing and painting landscapes learned through his 40 years of teaching and illustrating.

A widely respected artist, educator, and nature journaler for more than 40 years, John Muir Laws (a.k.a. Jack) loves to include landscapes in his nature journal as a rich way to notice more, record, and remember a place. In this class, Jack shares techniques for keeping your landscapes simple and small, choosing a slice of landscape to paint, how to work with a limited palette creating color harmony and depth, and utilizing three key values to make your landscape sing.

All ages and levels welcome. And invite your friends—there is “mushroom” for everyone!
