US VP JD Vance Begins Official India Visit, Welcomed By Ashwani Vaishnaw With Guard Of Honour

D Vance India Visit: U.S. Vice President JD Vance arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a four-day official visit aimed at boosting India-U.S. ties. Accompanied by his wife Usha Vance and their three children, JD Vance was welcomed with traditional dance and a ceremonial guard of honour. JD Vance will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss trade, tariffs, and defense cooperation. The visit comes amid a 90-day pause on sweeping tariffs announced by President Trump. The family will also visit Jaipur and Agra before departing on April 24.
