"For the ghoul, I used DeepMotion for the motion capture and then cleaned it. I animated my characters around the three physical interactions I directed on set. One friend pulled a string to make it seem the mummy was tugging on my vest. Another friend had a leaf blower, to blow my hat off to make it appear it was from the roar. And finally, the third friend grabbed my shirt and tossed me to the floor. It was also good for the acting to see someone physically there as a stand-in for the
ghoul."
