Cycling Northern Vietnam | Trying To Avoid The Crowds (Ep.3)

As I approached the Hà Giang region in northern Vietnam, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The landscapes were bound to be stunning, but would the experience feel authentic amid one of the country’s most visited routes? In this episode, I pedal through Hà Giang and into Sa Pa, navigating remote mountain passes, popular tourist stretches, and quieter backroads. Along the way, I reflect on the contrast between curated and lived-in spaces, and how brief interactions, local history, and the simple act of sharing the road can reveal something deeper about a place.
