Cotton Bowl Preview: Has Miami Finally Fixed Its Penalty Issues?

In the middle of the 2025 college football season, the Miami Hurricanes lost two of three games, including a road loss at SMU and a home loss to Louisville. Both games were marked by sloppy play and costly penalties. 

However, when the Canes went on the road to start the College Football Playoffs against Texas A&M, they had seemingly cleaned up the worst of those penalty issues. Now, with a Cotton Bowl showdown against Ohio State on deck, are Miami's penalty problems a thing of the past?
