From the moment I arrived I could feel the difference: the garden opens out to the sea, so you’re always between green foliage and ocean breeze. According to the hotel’s official info, they call it “live life by the sea surrounded by nature”.

The kids’ area is highlighted as a feature on their website too — so if you’re travelling with family, this is a big plus.

What I loved: the pool was clean, the beach was surprisingly quiet for being so close to Dar es Salaam, and the food hit the right mark — everything came together for a relaxed but memorable stay.
